Who are we?
MindArk was founded in 1999 and launched the beta version of its groundbreaking MMORPG, Project Entropia, shortly thereafter. Entropia Universe, as the universe was later rebranded, features a unique player-driven real-cash economy, and has been under continuous development for close to two decades.
Today MindArk is an expanding studio constantly pushing the boundaries of technology and design, aiming to take our universe to new horizons with an ever-growing team of game developers. Our team is in the process of migrating the entire universe to Unreal Engine 5, an exciting and challenging project that harnesses the most powerful game engine on the market.

MindArk is allowing developers to take on the work they want to do and let them engage with that on a stakeholder level; looking for potential in people instead of restricting it behind titles or age. We're making games together, not just following a checklist, which brings out the best of us developers. I haven't had any crunch, and we have some great benefits with healthcare and work-time training hours. In between the cycles we have a week of researching and exploring. For me, it's been a great way to keep up to speed on the latest tech (and do the occasional game jam).
